Apple's sales fell

Apple’s iPhone Sales Just Fell for the First Time—It Won’t Be the LastJoe Raedle/Getty ImagesIt was boundto happen at some point.For the first time sinceApplelaunched its flagship smartphone in 2007, the company sold feweriPhonesthan it did in the same quarter the previous year. Sales dropped 16 percent in thefirst quarter of the year—and an even more dramatic 32 percent from the last quarter of 2015. The world’s most valuable company still moved 51 million smartphones, more than anyone not named Samsung can boast. But that doesn’t soften the impact of a product that’snever gone any direction but up finally taking a dive. In fact, the iPhone’s so critical to Apple’s balance sheet that its fall led to a 13 percent drop in the company’s revenue.In the company’s earnings announcement, Apple CEO Tim Cook attributed the decline to “strong macroeconomic headwinds,” citing unfavorable currency exchange rates and a grim global economic outlook. But behind the corporate-speak, it’s worth examining what’s really happening—and how worried Apple should be about the future.For now, Cook strikes an upbeat note. “We see a business that is healthy and strong,” he said of the iPhone during an earnings call Tuesday. He argues that iPhone upgrades are strong, customers are loyal, Apple continues attracting Android users at a high rate, and there’splenty of growth to tap in emerging markets. All of which is fair, but belies the reality of a very down quarter.You don’t need to be anEconomistsubscriber to know the global economyhas been in rough shape.Every week seems to introduce a new pocket of uncertainty, whether it’s China’s plummeting stock market or apower crisis in Venezuela. For acompany that depends upon international reach—especially one selling premium products—any turmoil impacts the bottom line.As a US company, Apple’s exchange rate woes are also real. The dollar has been strong—up 20 percent in the last two years or so against other major currencies—which effectively makes US exports more expensive in foreign markets. Shelling out for a pricey iPhone is a big ask for many parts of the world under ideal conditions; inflating that cost could do even more to make people opt for a cheaper phone, or even inspire them to (shudder!) keep their iPhone 5S a little longer.

Hi my name is Thatoetsile and I'm about to give a little tour about myself.

I started school in 2002,at that time I did not know anything about exept that it is anice thing to have.I did not know that there will be time when I have to make a decision about my future.

I grew up to be as matured as I am now.Only now I realise that life is not as easy as it seemed when I started school.

I had the most fun when I started High School,did not know that life after high school is not Hot Chocolate in winter morning.It became more & more difficult after I passed my matric.

I became a Dj,learned few lessons about what I really want.I made few cents that did not last,met few people that did not last and a little respect that did not last.I started a project "D-Minor Entertainment" to empower people like me but ended up clossing it'temporarilly' because I did not get enough support.

I prayed God asking for guidence and at long last I reverted to my High School time when I had poetry in every part of my body.When I tried to awaken it I remembered the reason I left poetry club house.

God wanted me to make a decission and I made it.I told myself that I will make it even without enough support.I became a writer and after a year different companies from overseas wantted to advertise with me which I turned down because I didn't want my work to be disturbed by ads.

It was always not about the money always about finding what I love.

God has his reasons for testing us and with our faith in him we will climb graeter hights,we will reach beyond limmits.The impossible will be turned possible.All we need is to stick by each other and support each other through hardships,thats one of the test God has given us.He is our strength,let us show him how much we appreciate his blessings.

The King Fell in Love

The king Fell in Love: Through that rough heart,strong arms,integrity and everything the king has,inside there is that tiny space that needed satisfaction & Love. He was not soft but his followers thought it was weakness and they didn't want to be lead by the weak king but because he was smart he proved to them that Love is not weakness,it is just something everyone needs no matter their status. He stood with pride & asked his followers what kind of a king he would be if he doesn't have a queen by his side,he said everyone needs an extra strength and the queen would be his super strength. What he had not encountered was that she was his strength and his weakness,and that one day she would take all his strength. The day came when a young good looking man entered the castle with passion and determination to become a knight.The moment he bowed for the king,he had already captured the queen's heart with slow motion to the ground. The king would not stand a chance against this young man as he[the king]was not goodlooking,letting someone else be the captain of your own ship is not a good choice but then again the king had no choice but to let go of his ship. His followers repeated their statement,they said he was weak because he let a 'Nobody' take his queen.He smiled and said to them "Letting go does not mean I'm weak,sometimes it is pointless to fight a battle you could never win killing that young man would make me a winner of the fight not the queen's heart." He said to them "If I'm busy fighting for Love who would take care of my tribe?There are things worth fighting for than Love,I'd rather fight for my people than fight a pointless fight".And then his followers praised him and cheered.While they were still cheering,a beautiful woman walked in,she was a stranger not part of the king 's tribe. Her walk captured the king 's heart,the king travelled so far without moving,she greeted the king continously but he could not hear her because her beauty had frosen him and took him to another world.Seconds later he came back from his fantasy. He acted tough so that his tribe could not notice,he greeted back" hellow young lady,you seem like you are not from here,how can I help you?".The lady replied "Yes your highness I'm not from here,I heard about your great leadership so I came to ask to join your tribe".In my castle everyone is welcome as long as they don't bring the trouble'the king replied. Go to my secretary and register yourself under my tribe.She started walking away but the king stoped her "You said you are not from here,where are you gonna sleep?the king asked.She replied "I will find a comfortable conner and sleep in it until I find a place to stay". Nonsense,tell my secretary to show some rooms and choose one that you will sleep in,In my tribe no one sleeps uncomfortable.It was true every one slept peacefully. The days went by and they got closer[the king and young lady].The king fell inlove and the lady also fell inlove bu4 they were both scared to aproach one another.The lady became brave and told the king that she had found love with him. The king didn't want to repeat the same mistake so he said to her "I had a queen before but because I'm not good looking she left me for a good looking young man so why would you fall inlove with me?"She said even the not goodlooking deserves to be loved. He got curious and asked "so you love me because you pity me?"She replied "what I see on the outside does not matter,what matters is what I feel inside."When I'm with you I feel all different.I feel happy and stunned,she said to him. They loved each other so much they got married a month after.There was no war it was just Love & Happiness,That was just how Love was.
